You're probably wondering about the title...my daughter Isabella loves to clean-she comes by it honestly. I am a shameless clean freak. One morning I was working away in the kitchen while she had the mop I'd left out overnight to dry. And I look over to check on her and my then-7-month-old son, and say the five words I never thought I'd say as a parent, "Isabella, don't mop your brother!" He didn't mind, and she just wanted to make sure he was sparkly. So welcome to my world!

La la la la-I can't hear you!

Remember when you were a kid, and you didn't want to hear what someone was saying? You'd cover your ears, close your eyes, and sometimes even hum so you wouldn't let any of the nasty in.
When I was attending Harvest Bible Chapel, Pastor James McDonald preached about being filled by the Holy Spirit. It's similar to being drunk (not that I would know) because you are completely under the influence of something else; it controls your speech, your actions, you are not the one in control. Oh, to have this kind of filling with the Holy Spirit!
So how do the two tie in? Recently, in going through this topic again in our small group, I was struck with the idea that we should be so filled with the Holy Spirit that there's no place for Satan to "enter"-I won't let him get to my eyes, my ears, or my mouth. No point of entry. Much like what we did as kids to keep things out.
Holy Spirit in. Satan out.
